Just walked in the door after a furlough day off ... so much fun!
The Thursday night game is Chiawana at Kamiakin. First off, this game should be starting at 7 p.m. according to the league bylaws, which would make so much sense with Friday being a school day (and as an aside, from a newspaper-centric point of view, makes our lives so much easier). But again, the league poobahs poo-pooed their own rules ... but I digress.
This is a nothing game for both teams -- Chiawana, because it is out of the playoff hunt, and Kamiakin, which has locked up the No. 2 seed to next week's crossover round.
And yet, whenever two Tri-City teams meet, there's always the pride factor at stake. Plus, the Braves have built some momentum the past couple of weeks that they won't want to see dissolved heading into the postseason.
