I've got a few minutes, so let's look at the Thursday night games:
Davis at Southridge
The Pirates are much-improved from a year ago, but Kennewick showed last week that they still have a ways to go to match their CBBN brethren. The moral of their win over Lake Washington -- the eastside bottom-feeders kick butt over the westside's. The Suns are angry after last week's thrashing up in Wenatchee, and Davis is the unlucky bearer of the brunt of that frustration. Southridge 35-7
Eastmont at Chiawana
The Riverhawks lost a bad one last week, giving up a second-half lead ... at home ... to West Valley. The Wildcats have shown themselves to be good road warriors, romping Richland at Fran Rish and taking Kamiakin to OT at Lampson. This time, they're at Edgar Brown, and their road success continues. Eastmont 28-14
I'll be at the Lamp tonight.
Til next time ...
