Well, I'm three coaches down, five to go in preparing my CBBN Cascade Division preview.
As we ready for our football preview section (coming out Sept. 4), here's a couple items to tide you over:
-- Ron Newberry, the former preps guru for the Tacoma News Tribune and sports editor at The Olympian, is now the coordinator for the Washington page on coachesaid.com. He put out his preseason football rankings this week, with Southridge at No. 4 in 4A, Prosser No. 2 in 2A, and Royal No. 1 and Connell No. 4 in 1A.
-- While I was gone the past couple of days, Ron Seigel's preseason senior all-state team was released. Doug Pacey of the TNT was kind enough to post it on his blog.
