Tegan and Sara: Sisters in harmony at Sasquatch

GEORGE — Canadian duo Tegan and Sara were awfully chatty today at Sasquatch.

After they opened their show with "Walking with a Ghost," they rolled into several hits off their latest album "The Con."

They then shared the story about how they aren't big fans of festivals just because of the sheer size and scope of the event.

But it was here a couple of years ago that the sisters met Death Cab for Cutie. This relationship ended up evolving into Death Cab guitarist Chris Walla producing Tegan and Sara's latest album.

As the ladies went into "Back into your Head," I jetted over to the Wookie Stage to catch a few songs from Rogue Wave (Oakland, Calif.).

I walked in just time for one of their better-known songs — the catchy ballad "Publish my Love," which sounded incredible live. They then played a little hoedown and segued into "Love's Lost Guarantee." They also played some off their 2007 album "Asleep at Heaven's Gate."
