| Jeremy Dutton makes a living off of reading other people's stories and designing pages you'll want to look at. He lives in Kennewick and dreams of the day when the TC gets an indie record store to feed his nasty record buying habit. |
GEORGE, Wash. — I wouldn't call him a rock star, but Rainn Wilson (The Office) just came out.
He announced that The National was stuck in Canada with a broken-down bus. So while all those ideas about Canadians being really nice people may be true, if you stay there overnight, bad things will happen to you.
But with the National down, Wilson read the rap sheet on a Canadian band that would be making a special fill-in appearance. Everyone erupted when he mentioned their hit single was "Workin for the Weekend."
But Loverboy it wasn't, just Wilson pulling an Office joke.
Seattle's Fleet Foxes did the real job, pulling out a nice set. Check 'em out at http://www.myspace.com/fleetfoxes
