Thank you for your endorsement for Newhouse. I watched them debate and had pretty well decided, but you confirmed my choice. In their presentation here, Didier’s experience in football seemed of little importance. The game can develop self-discipline which generally in short supply and team work. The passion for the goals set is more important. Both candidates “agreed’ on many points. My problem with Newhouse was that in his agreement, there were many “buts” hinted. It sounded like big government is bad, but how can we get the job done without it? That places him with the established Republicans of which we have too many already. The established Republicans are always a few steps behind the radical wing of the Democratic Party. It’s like when people I worked with said that a Democrat senator of Oregon was a Communist. I said not true. He was always a few weeks behind the commie party line.
