I am writing in support of Estakio Beltran for the 4th Congressional District House seat being vacated by Doc Hastings.
In an overcrowded field of candidates, only one sticks out as being capable of representing all citizens in our district, Estakio Beltran. Truly from humble beginnings -- being bounced around from foster home to foster home as a child and working in the fields as a young person. He eventually overcame these humble beginnings to work on Capitol Hill for seven years and earn a masters degree from an Ivy League University.
After attending the one debate with all 12 candidates on July 10, I was amazed at how many of these candidates couldn't string together two coherent sentences to make their positions clear to the voters in attendance. Mr. Beltran consistently answered the questions asked of him in a clear and concise manner. He stood out as the one candidate who truly will stand up for the people of the 4th Congressional District who work for a living -- the workers who earn a paycheck -- not those who write paychecks.
If you want someone in D.C. who represents the majority of us, please vote for Mr. Beltran.
Never miss a local story.
