I was just going to vote for myself this year for Washington's 4th Congressional District. I'm just tired of all the control freaks who get elected.
Maybe I am naive, but I don't understand why politicians don't know how to say no. This year, I am making it official by actually getting my name on the ballot for the primary as the one candidate who doesn't seek to control everybody's lives.
I think of myself as an opt-out candidate. I know there are lots of people who want to vote for their cats and dogs, but the sad fact is there still will be someone who gets put into the seat, and it might very well just be another control freak.
So I am going to do my part to try to keep out the control freaks so the people can have their freedom back. This is a free country, and the people shouldn't have to worry about who is put in office to protect their interests. Kevin Midbust for Congress is my Facebook page. I was elected president of my class back in second grade, so the other potential candidates may want to watch out!
Never miss a local story.
