I was very upset to read that George Fearing has run for political office not once but twice. Also I read this fact in an ad for the committee to elect Metro for Judge. (I Googled it and it is accurate.) Why didn't the editorial that supported George Fearing mention this? I think it is really important to know. Our judges interpret law. They are supposed to be nonpartisan. They attempt to stay above the mess politicians create. Not sharing this with your readers was a disservice to us and to the political process. To correct that disservice, I will be voting for Gary Metro. With this type of reporting, no wonder the committee had to pay for an ad.
I'm very disappointed in the Herald.
