Election letter -- Strong mayor: No
After graduating from law school in 1966 I moved my family to Pasco. Here I have lived for more than 47 years, made a living, educated our children and raised our family. Pasco is my home.
Among the many things that I admire about Pasco is the city's participation in the construction and maintenance of the bike path along the river and the city's partnership with the Pasco School District that allows the playgrounds of several Pasco schools to remain open when our schools are closed. Both of these programs are huge assets for our community and enhance the quality of the lives of all those who participate. These are just two examples of solid leadership by Pasco's city government
Proposition 2, if passed, would significantly change our city's form of government. A wise man once said: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Vote no on Proposition 2.
Never miss a local story.
