I am currently unconvinced that a water park would work in the Tri-Cities. I am a senior and live in Pasco and will never be able to use those facilities. The kids need to have a pool closer to their residences. How does the city think that parents with multiple children can afford the transportation and high admission that usually comes with water park activities.
Tri-Cities has already had one water park failure years ago. My children got to go to the park once at $8 each. Then the kids get hungry, etc. Pasco should either replace or repair Kurtzman and Richardson pools and spend its money more wisely than on an elaborate play area for the wealthier citizens. It's just too much in this economy.
