This question is almost too much of a softball to merit a response. Of course, medical school should be more accessible in Washington. One would hope that more doctors would mean that the cost of health care declines, or at least stabilizes. Of course, we have to pay for another public medical school through increased taxes. This could very easily turn out to be a zero-sum exercise for most of us, as we would recoup our tax payments through reduced health care costs (hopefully). I have said many times that I do not mind paying taxes in order to support a civilized society, and I mean it.
