Our country is way broke, our country is in dire need of immigration reform, which amazingly the politicians won't take on in an election year for fear taking a stand that will upset voters and they might not keep their royalty status. Our country is facing terrorism and the Middle East is a time bomb. So what does Maria Cantwell do to address these huge issues? The answer is propose legislation to financial impact the NFL over the Washington D.C. mascot. Of course she grandstands this cause as a civil rights issue.
This impacts the vast majority of our states citizens in no way what so ever. Maybe it's a big deal where she lives. Is this the best she can do?
On my priority list of meaningful causes and issues right now facing our country, this is about number 2,069. Give or take an issue.
