My earlier letter (July 25) regarding an article in Science magazine is not necessarily a misrepresentation. The controversy among the climate scientists regarding the multitude of computer models exists. That's what Science reported. Following that are the three essays from IPCC related scientists in the July 4 issue with further concerns including the redaction of "robust science" as identified by those lead authors. The questioning is also occurring at the American Physics Society as outlined in its December 2013 Workshop Framing Document.
Tracking the IPCC declarations is also interesting noting that as the modeling effort has progressed, the uncertainties have not improved and can even be shown in some instances to increase, while the IPCC asserts that the confidence in anthropogenic singular causality has improved. The discussion and study among scientists needs to continue in order to resolve what is not known. I do not believe that it's a simple system with a necessarily single warming effector, which is not a denial of climate change.
