I am diabetic and am on insulin. Medicare wants me to use generics. I would like to know why there is no generic for insulin? I think insuling is very lucrative for the health care industry.
I went to renew my prescription for my Levemir Flexpen, and lo and behold, I'm in the doughnut hole. I didn't even last six months of the year and now the cost for a 90-day supply went from an $80 copay to $604.50.
I'd say something is wrong because I only got a 2 percent COLA raise. Is the added Flexpen cost a 2 percent increase? I can't get any help because I make too much money. Somebody's head is in the sand.
I take seven other meds and my choice is groceries or meds.
Don't get old. The government is wanting old people to die so they won't get the benefits they worked for all their lives. I feel like I have a target on my back because I'm a senior.
