Eastern Washington, in my opinion, doesn't have much to say unless the west side throws us a bone from time to time. When was the last governor from the east side? When were either of the two senators from the east side? When elections roll around, who controls the outcome? Four or five counties on the West side can elect a governor, or senator. Would Inslee be governor if he stayed on the east side?
There was talk one time about combining Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho to make another state.
Idaho seems to have the same division. Maybe that subject should be brought up again.
