Graduating from high school is a powerful and important step in your life. It should be celebrated, but it should not be the best years of your life. There is so much more of life to experience and to grow from. So much more for you to become. You should do so with respect for yourself and everyone around you. No one but you controls who you will be.
You will think you are pretty mature at 18. You will laugh at how mature you thought you were when you are 24.
Be a consecrated learner. One who sets aside pride in order to accept and even welcome correction and suggestions to improve yourself. More people love you and are concerned for you than you will ever know.
Bad will come your way, but life is good.
Never miss a local story.
