What does it take to be a good neighbor?
Please mow your yard and maintain your side of the fence line. Do what you can to rid your lawn of dandelions, each flower yields 150-200 seeds and our wind carries them everywhere.
Pick up your trash and have your company do the same. You must have garbage service, but not paying your bill leaves you without a trash can, don't use mine. If you have pets, please keep them in your yard and don't let them out just to do their business in my yard. Barking dogs echo in fenced yards so please teach them early on, don't pretend you don't hear them. Be a diligent pooper scooper so I can enjoy my yard without the smell.
Don't come home at 11 p.m. with your car stereo thumping so loud it shakes my windows. Let your kids play outside but screaming makes me wonder where you are or what you are doing. Signed, everyone's neighbor.
Never miss a local story.
