The city of Richland should do all it can to protect the Amon Creek Natural Preserve. The preserve is a one-of-a-kind feature of the city and once it is gone, it cannot be replaced.
The city of Richland is in the unique position to show its support of the Amon Creek Natural Preserve, putting a stop to the housing development proposed next to the it.
The proposed high-density housing development of an area with limited access does not make sense and should be stopped completely.
The location of the development is wrong. Why would anyone want to live between railroad tracks, power lines and a substation?
Never miss a local story.
The developers are trying to make this inviting by naming their development Clearwater Creek. Who are they kidding? Their 360+ homes will ruin the area.
The city of Richland must listen to its citizens and not the developers. Each public meeting on the issue of development next to the Amon Creek Natural Preserve has been packed with citizens concerned about the preserve. No one has attended those meetings in support of development. This development will ruin the Amon Creek Natural Preserve and must be stopped now!
