Amon Basin is a unique microenvironment within the Tri-Cities. As such, it attracts a variety of wildlife, including rabbits, coyotes, beavers, owl, ducks, geese, pheasants, hawks and others. To preserve the basin for their sake and for the enjoyment of all the people who enjoy the habitat, is an important legacy. Furthermore, I believe that communities that can provide a combination of commercial enterprises, good housing, recreational activities and areas in which nature is preserved, are more attractive to those looking to resettle as well as businesses looking for new opportunities.
