Letter: Obamacare reveals socialism's defects
So far, we have spent $400 million over three years on a website that doesn't work and another $700 million on advertising for a program that as of yet cannot report on the numbers of successful enrollment. I encourage everyone who held up those 30 million uninsured victims as a rationale for this insane law to do the math. Not to worry though, the 800 number will cure all ills.
Obamacare is an illustration of the defects of socialism. There is more than enough money to give aid to those 30 million uninsured but that's not really the point. And it never was. It has always been about control.
If you want proof of that statement simply breathe in and out. I hope for your sake that breath was covered, otherwise you might be subject to a fine. Wait a minute, the Supreme Court defines that uninsured breath as a potential tax. My bad.
Even those who think that single payer is our best option can see the waste. Yet they support this mandate. If there is a better example of ethical sacrifice in regard to the axiom: The ends justify the means. I'd like to see it.
