On Nov. 5, Washington voted down GMO labeling. I am not sure why. Have you ever identified the ingredients in the food you eat? If not, I encourage you to become an informed consumer.
Some of us have begun to educate ourselves and we are horrified at the sheer amount of known toxins used to process our food. We wonder what the cumulative affects are, especially when you multiply the amount and type of toxins in our food supply with the environmental toxins that bombard us every day. It seems very clear why so many of us are sick, disabled and dying.
It is also clear that big business and most politicians have little concern for the health, safety and welfare of the American people. The research and statistics are staggering. In the name of unmitigated greed, corporations knowingly poison our food supply and our environment with impunity, and the American people allow it to happen. Whether it is through our ignorance, apathy or indifference, we continue to accept the lies and misinformation of the very industries that are killing us. At the very least, I want to know what is in my food! I hope you do too.
