No, the U.S. should not take military action in Syria. I find it very hypocritical to take action in Syria over chemical weapons when this present federal government spurned and vilified the last government for taking action in Iraq over weapons of mass destruction. Boston calls weapons of mass destruction a backpack of explosives. I think it is just another double standard excuse to interfere where I am not certain the U.S. should interfere at all.
In my opinion, the U.S. has picked the wrong side to support or not supported the ones it should since World War II, starting with Cuba. As far as I can see, we have enemies on both sides of the issue. I object strongly supporting any issue dealing with al-Qaida, on the rebel side, and Hezbollah on the government side. We supported Afghanistan against Russia with Stinger Missile Launchers and of course this last war. They don't love us there or in Iraq. We didn't really win the war in either country and certainly not in Vietnam.
I am more in favor of building Reagan's Star Wars Defense at home and building our own economy and devising a medical system that won't bankrupt us all.
