A recent letter writer made the claim that the phrase "low-information voter" has racist connotations. Perhaps I can enlighten him.
Anyone can be a low information voter. I know, I was one. In my younger days I was single, working for decent pay, and interested only in meeting women, going out with my friends, and generally enjoying my free time. I really didn't care what was going on in Washington D.C. or what was on the nightly news. That attitude changed when I lost my job thanks to the Jimmy Carter economy.
The letter writer was engaging in the same old Alinskyite tactics that all good little leftists use when the facts don't fit their ideology. They make things up and declare it as truth.
I would suggest that, in the future, leave the race baiting to the pros like Obama and his minions. No one would dare refute them because, after all, that would be racist.
Never miss a local story.
