Many of the economic and social troubles in the United States are inflicted on us by the progressive liberals. They say, "Trust us and we will make life good."
What they mean is that by hiring a lot of staff, they can increase expensive services we didn't ask for. Is this good?
Right now, each member of Congress has excess staff responsible to write cryptic laws that require litigation to interpret. Our elected officials are covered but seldom held responsible.
We need simple, linear change we can understand. Our Congress should not be on a higher salary schedule, better health plan, etc., than the general public. Lawmakers should be personally accountable for bad laws, wasted resources, etc. Then this government of, for and by the people would excel.
Poor training from our schools on how to rip off the public (when done) should stop. If possible, commission an honest legal audit with corrective action.
