My husband and I tend to support work to further the gospel. Some of these are a Bible translator group, prison ministries, and our "sister" church in northern Uganda. Also we support our local Pregnancy Network. I make baby quilts for the Family Birthing Center at KGH, and make other quilts with my church to give to families in need and to the foster care system. A lot of my stitching goes into the KGH auxiliary to sell and further help earn monies for extra equipment for the different departments at the hospital. We also help a couple local families with extra food from time to time.
Giving is good. Ours is not works-driven appeasement, but from abundant hearts.
