I am writing in response to the recent letter, "No to coal terminals."
Lora Rathbone tells us that the United States should not ship coal from ports in Washington, Oregon or Canada.
She presents data gleaned from Sightline.org. The key here is that this organization is a "sustainability" think tank.
I direct your attention to the keyword here being "sustainability."
Never miss a local story.
The underlying major issue here is the U.N Agenda 21, which is a massive wealth transfer program that also seeks to modify our communities as to location, size, transportation modes and agricultural growth zones. It will, as it is accepted by city and state governments, begin to undermine our sovereignty.
I direct you to the aforementioned site and freedomadvocates.org, which explain in greater detail the damage that is being and will be done. Planning in many areas includes this thinking.
I also direct you to a paperback book, Behind The Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21 by Rosa Koire, the executive director of the Post Sustainability Institute who has fought the attempts to hoodwink the citizenry.
Let's begin to understand the magnitude of the problem that is being foisted on us without our knowledge. Then we will discuss whether or not we can export coal.
