We are so fortunate to live in a country where we are guaranteed the right and privilege to vote. Ballots have been mailed and on them are key leadership positions in local governments and at the state level. It is so important that we take the time to investigate and consider the leadership qualities the candidates not only say they have also but have demonstrated as well.
Questions you might consider: Who will work for the greater good of our community or who will cater to or bow to small interest groups? Which one will unite rather than polarize? Who will be the best at creating an atmosphere of teamwork and compromise, and who can you trust to be truthful and honest?
Being a leader is hard but rewarding work. The credit is really never yours -- it belongs to those you provide the opportunity, the information, the trust and guidance to go out and do good things.
Please vote, and please consider the candidate you think has the qualities you believe will do the very best -- with humility -- to lead your community and our region.
Never miss a local story.
