It has come to my attention and really concerns me that there have been multiple death sentences as a result of wrongful convictions. How can society repay stolen years? How can society restore a ruined reputation or heal a scarred soul?
This is very important, because DNA testing can free some of the falsely convicted. Although it cannot give back the lives to those found innocent after the death penalty, it can prevent lives from being taken away bring the right peopleto justice instead of the wrong ones.
I think that there should be absolutely no death penalty without DNA evidence!
