Individuals can't help but be changed by horrible events that have the magnitude of the Boston marathon bombing. We all know someone affected by the race, or have watched the hoards of injured runners and observers on TV. The magnitude of pain and suffering is overwhelming and goes deep.
Will I personally change anything about my behavior? I will continue to be more vigilant in choosing my public outings. I am nervous in movie theaters and classroom settings now, anywhere where I can be a sitting duck, I don't relax until we leave the space.
What incredible, terrible times these are.
Is anyone listening, Congress, to the noise of increasing violence in our country?
