I am concerned about increasing secularism and rejection of Christian-based biblical morals, which forces immorality upon others culturally, socially, politically, economically etc.
Our nation is great because a group of God-fearing Christians chose to settle in America and create a system of government and commerce based on biblical values. Being an American to me means being a Christian citizen who, along with industry, independence, self-reliance, hard work, conservation, compassion, charity etc., takes literally "One nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all."
I worry that our nation, as it shifts away from God-honoring values to immoral norms, will lack the character and moral fortitude to make sacrifices and difficult decisions in the future because it does not rely on God for strength and wisdom and instead has distorted our freedoms into a license for immorality.
