We recently went to the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter & Control Services in Pasco to volunteer to provide foster care for a dog.
We met with the kennel care manager. She explained in great detail the process of how to be accepted to be a foster pet parent and how to care for the dog once accepted.
Also, she went above and beyond from what I expected. She contacted me on her personal time and returned my calls day or night. Being this was my first time fostering a dog from the shelter, I had a lot of questions. because the behavior of Bella was quite different than my other dog.
She took the time and was very professional in explaining to me how to handle her and different ways on potty training her and more.
Never miss a local story.
So people of the Tri-Cities, if you are ever interested in fostering or adopting a dog from the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter & Control Services, please see the kennel care manager. She is very knowledgeable and patient with newcomers with lots of questions, and her personality is awesome, because she loves what she does!
