I approve of the idea to use the $98 million bond to help improve and build schools. Students have to deal with overcrowded classrooms and leaky ceilings. These are just a few of the afflictions preventing the younger generation from getting the education they need to become responsible adults. Classrooms can be filled with 30 or more students. With so many pupils that they are responsible for, the teachers are not able to give many of the hard-working students needed individual help.
The bond would help lower the number of kids in each class and allow for more concentration in the room. According to the voters pamphlet classrooms in Marcus Whitman Elementary and Sacajawea Elementary have leaky ceilings, with some leaks coming through the light panels. The bond would fix this safety hazard and prevent others from happening. The construction bond for Richland School District would be very helpful in many different aspects.
Please vote yes.
