I believe Monica Eng of the Chicago Tribune did a good job reporting the story concerning a potential ban on Hot Cheetos in schools in some parts of the country (Health&Fitness, Nov. 6).
Personally, I do not like Hot Cheetos, but a few of my friends are in love with them. If Hot Cheetos were banned in schools, kids would still buy them at the store after school.
Now I do see where the good intentions came from in the idea of banning Hot Cheetos. If Hot Cheetos have little nutritional value as many other junk foods, why are they not banning other junk foods? Why are they not banning candy and soft drinks? I believe that Hot Cheetos should not be banned or regulated in schools.
