In response to the article on E-waste, Herald readers can recycle their old cellphones and support a great local program by donating them to Domestic Violence Services of Benton & Franklin Counties.
Donated phones will be cleared of any information and then provided to a victim of domestic violence as an emergency 911 phone. Broken phones will be recycled, generating cash assistance for DVS programs serving victims in our community.
Phones can be dropped off at any police station, Mid-Columbia library, Yoke's Fresh Market or the DVS office in Kennewick. Get rid of clutter, avoid the landfill and help support victims of domestic violence in our community.
