FITZGERALD REYES, Pasco
Maybe the top-two primary system is to blame, but as I wade through this year's political morass, invariably I hear prospective voters exhort: "Vote the lesser of two evils."
Why settle for a whole cup of evil, when you can get the other cup half full? How could we (the voters) let it come to this untenable situation? If we took the best qualities and ideas of these two winnowed candidates and matched them up to that third elusive candidate, we wouldn't have to hold our nose and vote the lesser of two evils.
Let's wake up and prepare ourselves for the next election cycle. Until we find a better way, we're stuck with th evil of two lessers.
