What were you thinking? Did you really need to report the address for the fire in the Aug. 28, Herald, "No injuries reported in Kennewick blaze?"
Yes, you need to report fires, etc., but to report the house was used as a residence for domestic violence victims makes it now a previous "safe" house. Plus this also was used for Elijah house for drug recovery persons.
And another thing: Pets are people too? Really! This heading is over a section of ads for animal services. My pets have never bought me food, given me water, taken me to appointments or had a two-way factual conversation.
Animals/pets are not homo sapiens, but animals. Yes I love my animals dearly and they become part of the family, but they are animals, not humans. When my granddaughter asked if "pets were really people," after she read the line on the newspaper, I had to tell her the paper was wrong. "But I thought newspapers report facts," she said.
Therefore please change this heading for your animal services to "People love Pets too" or something similar.

Editor's Note: The Herald reported the address of the Aug. 28 fire only after clearing it with the Domestic Violence Services of Benton and Franklin Counties.
