I am writing to encourage everyone, whether conservative, moderate or liberal, to see the documentary, 2016: Obama's America. It is presented and narrated by Dinesh D'Souza, who was born in India, emigrated to the United States, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth in 1983 and is currently President of King's College in New York. The producer is Gerald Molen, who won an Academy Award for Schindler's List.
D'Souza travels to Indonesia, Hawaii and Africa to study the teachings, influences and background of Obama's mother and father, college professors and mentors to shed some light on how they affected the formation of the president's belief system. D'Souza uses portions of the audio version of the president's book about his father, so the viewer is hearing the president in his own words.
While D'Souza is a conservative, I believe he presented the information in a factual way. I was surprised and intrigued by the facts presented as well as the predictions of a 2016 America should the president be re-elected.
With the election looming , I believe this documentary is worth viewing prior to casting your ballot.
