DAVID L. GLESSNER, Wallula
w We have different positions and places of work.
w Jobs are getting difficult to find in America.
w Less work, less tax money for the benefits expected.
w Jobs are being outsourced, and workers are using their earning to purchase the products produced by these outsourced jobs.
We need to change two things to turn our economy around:
1. We need to make buying "Made in the United States of America" our focus when making any purchase.
2. When voting, we need to research the candidates and elect those who understand that the agriculture, construction, manufacturing and timber industries are the backbone of our economy.
Creating government oversight departments increases overhead and makes agriculture, construction, manufacturing and timber industries unsustainable in America.
Send a message with every purchase. Made in the USA! Not just assembled in America with domestic and foreign material
Vote with each purchase of your hard earned dollars.
Unfortunately, our politicians and top CEOs have pushed for trade to China and Mexico for years, so Americans are now out of work. Start looking, people. In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else -- most often, someone's job.
