I have some thoughts after reading in the opinion column in the Aug. 19 Herald by Scott Klinger, "CEO welfare: Bush tax cuts gave 57 CEO's $1 million tax breaks," As well New York Times columnist Paul Krugman's piece on June 3, "The Republican Economy.
Even Bill Kristol, a neoconservative, thinks it is "kind of weird" that Mitt Romney pays only 13 percent federal income tax, while middle America essentially faces a higher rate.
Kristol also thinks that Romney should make more of his tax returns public, which he stated Aug. 20 on FOX News.
I continue to be disturbed and dismayed at the number of people who will vote Republican.
Duped into voting against their own interests.
But hey, that's just me.
