Richard Badalmente managed to cover all Democrat Talking Points in one fell swoop in his questionable letter on Aug. 5.
For the record, GOP and NRA abhor these deaths as much as anyone does. To imply that NRA is OK with this violence is shameful. Badalmente obviously either doesn't know NRA or chooses to distort the truth purposely. A million (new) gun laws will not stop bad people from committing bad crimes, and he knows it.
Vigilantism has no place in this discussion. This kind of empty talk will never result in a solution to this problem. It ends any productive dialogue immediately.
England did not confiscate all guns, only guns from law-abiding citizens who can no longer defend themselves in their own home. Bad guys still have and use them. Crime has skyrocketed.
England is a faulty comparison.
In Colorado, the shooter displayed all of the classic behavior. His doctor warned University of Colorado prior to shooting and they did nothing.
As usual, Richard chooses to spout platitudes blasting NRA and gun advocates than suggest real solutions.
