I'd like to thank those responsible for our concert experience at the Benton Franklin County Fair & Rodeo. Thank you late-comers, who stood in what used to be the reserved seating line aisle. We came early to place our chairs to watch the concert. You watched the concert -- we watched your backside.
From this experience, I have learned many of you need more exercise and slouch because of poor posture. Hey, gray-shirted lady, I recommend three meals a day. And booted lady, your boyfriend enjoys your hand locations, but you distracted us from viewing these other backsides.
Thanks also to the ladies and bearded guy smoking in front of us. Your young daughter is so fortunate to hang out with you. I couldn't help but think about the caged drinkers behind me who weren't allowed to roam freely while that smoke was blowing in my face.
Thank you, video screens. You would have distracted me from the backsides, except for the tent blocking most of the view, which was probably needed to protect the VIPs from all the rain we receive in August and hot sun beating down at 7:30 p.m.
Most of all, thank you, Kevin Cronin and company. You sounded great!
