Teddy Roosevelt's words: "For well or for woe we are knit together, and we shall go up or down together; and I believe that we shall go up and not down, that we shall go forward instead of halting and falling back, because I have an abiding faith in the generosity, the courage, the resolution and the common sense of all my countrymen."
We need to remember these words carefully. The truth isn't what the socialists want us to hear, but here it is. If we can come together as a state and as a nation, we can rebuild what we once had. A place we all can be proud of.
For us to do that, we need to change the political and moral decay we are in. We can't become complacent with our elected officials.
I believe the American spirit can be revived and be first and foremost the thing we can live for again. To do this, we need a governor who will fight for us. Who has a new direction. Who believes Washington can be the great state it is and will always be.
That is why I am supporting Rob McKenna. We have given him our trust as attorney general. Now it's time to give him our utmost trust in rebuilding our state as our next governor.
