Regarding the Herald's June 11 article, "Pasco High grad categorizes types of customers that can ruin service," which listed paying with coins as a major annoyance.
I would like people to be aware that not everyone is as fortunate to have a bank account to deposit or exchange spare change, let alone be able to afford the charge from a Coinstar machine to convert the change.
A penny spends the same as a dollar; it's all American currency. No one complains about someone counting out nine pennies whey they don't have a dime. Perhaps some people need to plan their day better if they are running late or in a rush.
