Ya know, there are already 2,500-3,000 gun laws in the U.S. And someone is always saying "we need stricter gun control." Who obeys the laws on the books now? The law-abiding citizen. Since when did the criminal care about laws? In areas where there are fewer controls, there is less crime. In areas of stricter control, there is more crime. Look at D.C., New York, and Chicago for just a few. New York has the Sullivan Act. They also have a very high gun crime rate. The mayor constantly is trying to take weapons out of the hands of law-abiding citizens across the nation and he can't take care of his own backyard.
Why not have stiffer sentences for gun crimes and stop trying to disarm the general public? They aren't the problem. Look at the UN. They want to disarm everyone so they have control and the people become "subjects." Do you want that? That is also what certain people in Washington want to do. That, after all, was the purpose of the "Fast and Furious" plan.
I've said it before; if you want only criminals to have guns then go to merry Old England. If you want "protection," that is the place to go.
