Elections are near -- you need to do your homework. Why is it that blue states are doing better then red states to take care of their constituents? Why is it that the American people fair better with Democratic leadership?
And the next set of questions is, why are the Republicans hurting people in order to help the richest. Over and over again, they have voted not to provide a stimulus package for teachers, firemen, police officers and infrastructure and yet approve of the Bush tax cuts and oil subsidies, while America is second of the list of child poverty in developed countries, according to UNICEF?
The recent affect of Republicans (these are not the Republicans of the past) in the debt ceiling debacle was to set back people getting jobs, and they want to do it again. At this stage, no matter how nice they seem, don't vote for them. The Republican agenda is running America into the ground. In response to this -- please site weblinks that support your arguments. And the American Legislative Exchange Council, Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute and FOX News don't count.
