Because of the high price of fuel, we haven't moved our 5th wheel since Easter of 2011. We used to go to Levenworth once a year, go several places during the summer and use it for hunting.
It just costs too much to move it. By the time we pay to park it, drive the truck around after, it is cheaper to not go or go for less time and get a motel. Course the state loses their fuel tax, but with fewer vehicles on the road, the roads will not get worn down. But I am very confident that things will change because after all, our governor and Senator Cantwell are going to "look into it." I believe Cantwell said that six years ago when she was running for re-election then. Course nothing changed, but maybe this time??
