If Mitt Romney becomes president, we can look forward to the Bain-ization of Hanford cleanup. The entire work force will be fired, then as part of the "managed bankruptcy," most of the workers will be re-hired at lower pay, smaller benefits, pension benefits gone and 401(k) employer contributions reduced or eliminated.
If union workers are rehired at all, their pay, benefits and bargaining rights will be greatly diminished. "Fortunately" for this community, Hanford cleanup cannot be outsourced overseas or down South, where labor is cheap even without "managed bankruptcy." Well, fellow Tri-Citians, if thats really what you want.
