President Obama claims his view on gay marriage is about fairness and equality. I disagree. What about the unions of men and women living together? Equality would be offering a solution to recognize domestic unions of all who are not married. Rather than offending those with a moral objection to the re-establishing the definition of marriage, why not re-establish the definition of domestic unions?
Couples of any nature should be allowed rights to each others benefits and property. Applications for establishing a union legally enforced by government toward employers, unions and all agencies regarding the couple is an acceptable solution.
The gay marriage debate is an insult to all religions that believe in traditional marriage. As the nativity scene is banned from some public places becase it is offensive to some, gay marriage should be banned because it's offensive to many. President Obama's view on Gay marriage is nothing more than another slap in the face of America's Founding Fathers.
