Out of curiosity, who planned out the Lee Boulevard "upgrade" that recently was completed? I'm not quite sure how going from four lanes to two is an upgrade at all, and I know I'm not alone. It may have alleviated some parking issues for Richland High School football games, but trying to drive down Lee on the night of a home game (especially when the game is just getting over) is a joke.
I noticed a few days ago that there are some young trees that have been planted near the entrance to each business along Lee as well. Did anyone give any thought to when those tress get older and dare I say it? Bigger? There are going to be a lot of accidents on Lee due to blind spots. It wouldn't be too bad if drivers had another lane to merge into traffic, but nope, they nixed the second lane in each direction.
It may be too late to correct this embarrassing combination of mistakes, but I feel like someone needed to point them out.
